Karen Walrond over at our sister blog Blogging Baby has
some suggestions for buying cameras for children,
starting with Fisher Price cameras for ages 6+ (using SLRs as teething rings isn’t as great idea, even if it’s
cute). She’s got a nice rundown, although DSLRs seem like expensive toys for teenagers. There are talented kids
out there who really do deserve serious equipment, but for ones who aren’t sure whether they’re going to stick with
photography as a hobby, why not look into a nice EVF?
