Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX1 review at Steves Digicams : Our good friends at Steves Digicams have published their review of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX1 digital camera. The Panasonic DMC-LX1 is a creative compact digital camera incorporating a 8.4 Megapixel CCD and a high resolution 2.5-inch LCD in its undersized body. The optical lens (equivalent to 28mm to 112mm on a 35mm film camera) is comprised of 4x optical zoom Leica DC VARIO-ELMARIT Lens and renders superb picture quality. Like other Panasonic Lumix cameras, what distinguishes the Panasonic DMC-LX1 from the rest is MEGA O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer). The Panasonic DMC-LX1 can record video clips in a high resolution of 848x480 pixels 16:9 Wide VGA format at 30 fps.
